Council Meeting - Results

We presented our arguments to council on Tuesday April 17th, expressing our concerns with the Property Standards Officer position.  Our presentation is attached below.

Deputy Mayor Rhonda Ehgoetz presented a motion to re-open or amend the Property Standards By-Law as was passed in 2001.  We think this is a good first step but we remain cautiously optimistic moving forward.  We will need to keep the pressure on so this gets dealt with in a timely manner and that the concerns we have are addressed.

The mayor mentioned that the Township is drafting a policy surrounding Biosecurity but we can find no mention of this in any of the council agendas or minutes from the past two months.
